Located on the hill that overlooks historic Oregon City, Oregon, Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center is easily accessible to the many residents of Clackamas County.

Maintaining a strong historical presence in the state, Oregon City was the site of the Oregon Trail and was the first incorporated city west of the Mississippi River. It also was the home of Dr. John McLoughlin, well known in Pacific Northwest history for his development of Fort Vancouver.

Today, Clackamas County is in the midst of one of the most dynamic periods in its history and has developed an influential presence in the state. Historically a fertile farming region, the county is located less than two hours from the rugged Pacific Ocean to the west and majestic Mount Hood to the east. Residents can take a walk along the beach one day and go skiing the next. Clackamas County itself is the site of numerous rivers, parks and woods that give ample opportunity for swimming, camping and hiking.

The growth of new business enables people to both work and live in one geographic area. People living in Clackamas County can live in a rural environment and still enjoy more urban activities just minutes away in Portland, our state's major metropolitan center.

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center is proud of its roots in Oregon City and deeply committed to continuing to serve the residents of Clackamas County with high-quality health care in a local, community-oriented environment.
